SFU Pipe Band Pipe Sergeant Jack Lee won the Piobaireachd event at the 2020 Glenfiddich Championship and placed 2nd overall on October 30 at Blair Castle in Blair Atholl, Scotland.

Stuart Liddell captured the Overall Championship and Willie McCallum won the March, Strathspey & Reel event.

The Glenfiddich Championship organizing committee implemented a strict COVID-19 Safety Plan, with the event being conducted on Friday October 30 and livestreamed on Saturday October 31.

Jack and fellow Canadian Bruce Gandy were required to separately quarantine in Scotland for 14 days before the event and are required to quarantine at their homes for 14 days when they return.

The SFU Pipe Band organization would like to thank the William Grant Foundation, the National Piping Centre, the competitors, adjudicators, and all the organizers involved in making this event happen in a safe way during the pandemic and enabling the global piping community to watch this premier event.
