Cameron has been piping since he was 6 years old under the instruction of his dad Andrew Bonar who played with SFU for many years. Since then, Cameron has been fortunate to have Jack Lee as his instructor and mentor. Cameron has had many accomplishments such as winning Pipe Idol at Piping Live and the MacGregor MSR at Oban in August of 2023, and winning the Silver Medal at Winter Storm in Kansas City in January of 2024. Cameron joined the band in the 2023-2024 season and is excited for many good years and runs with the band.
